Aperta una ricerca di partner per un progetto sul VII Programma Quadro. Un centro di ricerca informatica spagnolo cerca partner europei (Utilizzatori finali – ospedali, centri neurologici, etc; Piccole e Medie Imprese/Grandi società integratrici di hardware; Living Lab Providers) per il progetto MyRehab, il cui obiettivo è creare un sistema di assistenza sanitaria individuale per la riabilitazione da un ictus e per la prevenzione, che sia economicamente conveniente, e che possa essere utilizzato dai pazienti e dai loro assistenti direttamente da casa, in stretto contatto con le unità specializzate. One year after the 1st European Summit on the Future Internet, which took place in Luxembourg, the pace of technological development has continued unabated. Dal Consiglio regionale del Lazio il via ai seminari operativi a favore degli Enti Locali per l’accesso ai Fondi Comunitari: e’ quanto deciso nella seduta odierna dalla Commissione Affari Comunitari e Internazionale, presieduta da Gilberto Casciani (Lista Polverini). Si parte con l’incontro che si terra’ presso la protomoteca Capitolina, il prossimo 31 Gennaio e destinato ai consiglieri e dirigenti del Comune di Roma e Municipi. LAZIO: METTERSI IN PROPRIO GRAZIE ALLA REGIONE. Non e’ mai troppo tardi per mettersi in proprio. La Regione Lazio sostiene, con finanziamenti a fondo perduto che possono arrivare a un massimo di 24mila euro per ogni progetto, lo sviluppo dell’occupazione. Come? Attraverso soluzioni di autoimpiego e di creazioni d’impresa, con particolare attenzione alle fasce di lavoratori immigrati e al reingresso nel mondo lavorativo degli over 45. Due, in particolare sono le tipologie di beneficiari a cui si rivolge la misura: 1) cittadini italiani e comunitari con eta’ pari o superiore ai 45 anni che non abbiano raggiunto l’eta’ pensionabile; 2) cittadini extracomunitari con regolare permesso di soggiorno, con eta’ pari o superiore ai 18 anni, che non abbiamo raggiunto l’eta’ pensionabile. http://lazio-side.it/attualita/news/lazio-mettersi-in-proprio-grazie-alla-regione.html

Forest Fires in Israël. Activation of the SAFER project and EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The largest fire in the Israel’s modern history, which started last week, was still raging out of control on 2 December 2010. The forest fire has already killed at least 42 people and forced more than 30000 evacuations. In response to Israel’s request for assistance to fight these fires, raging in the northern part of the country, the European Commission activated the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. As of 2 December 2010, the Monitoring and Information Centre (MIC) is coordinating the European assistance. Concretely, Israel contacted the MIC with a specific request for fire-delaying and extinguishing materials, such as anti-fire powder. Consequently, this request was spread to the 31 members of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The 5th International Wildland Fire Conference, to be held in will provide a platform to bring together members of the science community with those involved in the technical operational fire management. This also includes those affected by fire and the authorities concerned and mandated with developing policies and strategies in wildland fire management. 10 April 2011 – 15 April 2011, Sidney, Australia. 34th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment. The Symposium will provide a platform for countries with established and emerging earth observation programs to report on their progress, as well as new initiatives in the remote sensing arena. As well, the 10-year Work Plan of the Group on Earth Observation (GEO) is scheduled to be finalised in 2011 and therefore the Symposium provides an important opportunity for GEO members and task teams to present details of progress and key findings. La missione della Filas nella gestione della L.R.2/85 è prevalentemente quella di effettuare interventi finanziari nel capitale di rischio delle Piccole e medie imprese (PMI) del Lazio, economicamente e finanziariamente sane, con progetti di sviluppo innovativi.
