Integrating Enterprise Systems via GIS Will Facilitate Interoperability for Better Business Processes.Henrico County, Virginia, recently adopted an IT policy that requires new enterprise systems to be geographic information system (GIS)-centric. Sono tutte imprese di nicchia in fase di decollo condotte per mano da Bic Lazio e il centro Esa/Esrin di Frascati che hanno aderito all’iniziativa dell’Esa, Agenzia Spaziale Europea, ESA Business Incubation Italy, vivaio di giovani imprese innovative.

New study published by the European Commission underlines the importance of pursuing technological openness for the future Ubiquitous Information Society.What does the future of a connected Information Society look like and how should we prepare our overall ICT strategy and related policies to become the globally leading knowledge society? Today the Commission made public some key policy considerations to these difficult questions by presenting the final results of a study of the evolution of the connected future information society and promising policy choices. The study projects the economic, societal and business model impact of expected technology trends which underpin the emerging ‘Ubiquitous Connected Society’. “.eu” internet domain now available in all EU languages.From today, European citizens, businesses and organisations can register .eu website names using characters from all 23 official languages of the European Union. This means that registrants, for example, can use Greek or Cyrillic names like www.?????????.eu or www.???????.eu. This call for tender is published by the European Commission as part of its work on media literacy and in the perspective of its reporting obligation on media literacy levels as indicated in the Audiovisual Media Services Directive. This new study will build on the results of the previous one. Ma come fanno gli utenti del web a trovare quanto cercano? Le attuali tecnologie di ricerca video si basano su annotazioni semantiche; i video sono taggati manualmente con parole chiave e individuati con una ricerca testuale, operazione costosa e che richiede molto tempo.
