La IES Solutions ha partecipato al Kick-Off Meeting di RESILOC che si è svolto a Francoforte, il 12 e 13 Giugno.

Oggi, IES Solutions ha preso parte al "Secure Satcom for Safety & Security Workshop",organizzato da ESA-ESTEC, dove verranno presentate e discusse le diverse applicazioni delle tecnologie di comunicazione satellitare.

On November the 20th, 2018, the GRALLE project (Galileo-based Reliable Automatic Low-Latency Emergency Warning Service), will have a Milestone review meeting in Brussels, before the final review meeting of December.

IES Solutions at the meeting of the AlpDIRIS project in Palmanova, Regional Department of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Civil Protection premises, for the training event on the use of the software tools supporting the cross-border cooperation between the PCRFVG and the Civil Protection of Slovenia.

On 23-24 May, the 18th PSCE conference will be held in Brussels (Belgium), during the event the topic: "Use of Satellite for Critical Situation" will be discussed.

On 9-10 May there was the fourth Transnational Meeting of the project NAFTES at the IES Solutions headquarters in Catania.

Representatives of external organisations have been able to fully understand the project and the functionalities of the platform, both in terms of content and applications (especially e-learning and Augmented Reality). The participants also tested firsthand the AR application of NAFTES.

The eCall development is moving forward: a demonstration event about TPSPs (Third Party Service Providers) and PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Point) eCall data exchange was held on November the 7h, 2017 in Varese, Italy, at the CUR 112 (Centrale Unica di Risposta 112 - a PSAP). eCall is the service that allows the sending of a message from a vehicle to emergency services in case of need.

The pilot phase will show the results accomplished in the i_HeERO Data integration activity, featuring the seamless integration between three different TPSP (Third Party Service Provider) and the 112 PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) in Varese.

The 2017 edition of the CAP Implementation Workshop was held in Rome last 20 and 21 September. The Workshop offered the opportunity to share information, ideas and trends about data exchange, CAP use and public alerting.

On 7th September, in Dortmund (Germany), the EmerGent project will have its Final Review. The project, of which IES is part of the consortium, studied the use of social media during emergencies, and the identification and integration of valuable information from social media.

Three EU-funded projects (SECTOR, EPISECC and SecInCoRe) shared their points of view about several aspects of the Common Information Space. One of the main panels was focussed on three fundamental aspects of an information sharing space: a "Pan-European inventory", which collects information about past disasters and provides useful lesson learnt; taxonomies, a crucial concept for a complete understanding of the message between different organisations and different languages; standardisation, another pillar in the field of information sharing, as well as several other domains

On 3 May, PSCE and the EPISECC project will also organise a workshop on standardization in the premises of the German Red Cross in Munich. The workshop will be focused on the importance for EU projects to put more efforts on standardisation activities in order to bring innovation adapted to the fast-changing market.

Tomorrow, 31 March, the Activity 4 Project Meeting of the I_HeERO project will be held in Lisbon, Portugal. The project (Infrastructure Harmonised eCall European Pilot) aims at the development of the infrastructure needed for the implementation of the eCall service. The Activity 4, "Data Integration", deals with the integration of the data exchanged between the different actors during an eCall.

Among the topics, the integration of new Testbeds and UxVs (Unmanned Vehicles), towards the first operational prototype of the platform in June.

The EPISECC, SECTOR and SecInCoRe projects put together their efforts and knowledge in this Workshop to define common terminologies to be used in disaster management, aiming at improving the information sharing in Europe

The four projects focussed on interoperability, EPISECC, SECTOR, REDIRNET and SecInCore, will organise a joint meeting on Common Information Space and information sharing for disaster management.

During the final workshop, the advisories have tried the EmerGent platform with the aims to provide a last feedback before the upcoming final review.

During the workshop the partners will discuss the next steps and the practical ways of collaboration between the industrial partners and the representatives of end-users, in order to create a technological solution that meets the practitioners' needs.

IES Solutions will attend the Third Civil Protection Forum that will be hold in Brussels on 25-26 November 2009.

Today, 19 November 2009, a meeting-debate day has been held at Lamezia Terme, on the topic: "Campagna AIB 2009: consuntivo e proposte per le future edizioni" organized by the Comando Provinciale dei Vigili del Fuoco. Dr. Massimo Cristaldi has taken part in the event.

The projects REACH112 and REACT have been presented by Eng. Uberto Delprato at the PSC Europe Forum Conference on 18-19 November 2009 in Brussels.

The 3rd 112 Awards Ceremony will be held on 10 February 2009, eve of the 2nd European 112 Day (11/2) on 11 February 2009 in Brussels with the presence of several high-level politicians.

Today REACT will be presented at the WIS Common Alerting Protocol (X.1303) Implementation Workshop at WMO premises in Geneve.
