Dr. Uberto Delprato, CEO of IES Solutions, will participate to the 3rd International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Disaster Management (ICT-DM’2016), which will be held in Vienna, Austria from 13th of December to 15th of December 2016.
Researchers, experts and practitioners who are involved in emergency services, ad hoc planning and disaster management and recovery will attend the conference aiming at sharing information and experience about this domain; the conference will also focus on develop recommendations.
During the first day, dr. Delprato will be a keynote speaker. His speech, “Interoperability in disaster management: a hope or a wish?”, will analyse what is needed to enhance interoperability between disaster management systems. The title of the speech refers to the difference between hoping and wishing.
