Il Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare – Direzione Salvaguardia Ambientale – ha emanato il Bando per il finanziamento di progetti di ricerca finalizzati ad interventi di efficienza energetica e all’utilizzo delle fonti di energia rinnovabile in aree urbane, per il quale sono stati stanziati € 10.000.000,00. Possono presentare domanda di contributo imprese associate, anche in forma temporanea. L’associazione deve comprendere enti pubblici di ricerca la cui quota di partecipazione non sia superiore al 50%. In via facoltativa, la suddetta associazione potrà comprendere anche associazioni di categoria, agenzie energetiche locali, ESCO, agenzie, enti o istituti preposti alla comunicazione, informazione e formazione in materia ambientale, enti pubblici.Deadline 23-05-2009

Programma per la ricerca saniaria 2008: attività di ricerca finalizzata in materia di tutela della salute nei luoghi di lavoro. Il Programma sarà focalizzato sulle seguenti tre tipologie di ricerca:

  • Ricerca Innovativa, mirata a favorire lo sviluppo, anche in fase precoce, di innovazioni potenzialmente trasferibili al SSN,al sistema delle imprese e dei lavoratori;
  • Ricerca Valutativa, di trasferimento dell’innovazione e l’ottimizzazione della dimensione organizzativa del SSN e delle imprese;
  • Ricerca sulle Problematiche socio-sanitarie emergenti, orientata ad acquisire nuove conoscenze e fornire soluzioni innovative per il SSN.

L’uso dei dati satellitari per il salvataggio di vite umane. Le operazioni di salvataggio di membri dell’equipaggio caduti in mare dalle loro imbarcazioni in condizioni di tempo difficili sono sempre complicate. Gestire l’imbarcazione e posizionarsi in modo tale da recuperare la persona caduta in mare non è sempre facile, soprattutto in situazioni di stress Un sistema di recente ideazione utilizza i dati di navigazione satellitare per individuare il preciso posizionamento delle persone in difficoltà e, in ultima analisi, per salvare la loro vita. http://www.esa.int/esaCP/SEM868WPXPF_Italy_0.html

European cities need reliable and comparable urban planning information for safe, sustainable and prosperous development.This year, for the first time, 185 cities from all 27 EU Member States, will benefit from the “Urban Atlas”, which has been produced by the European Commission and Member States with the support of European space technology.Compiled from thousands of satellite photographs, the Urban Atlas provides detailed and cost-effective digital mapping, ensuring that city planners have the most up-to-date and accurate data available on land use and land cover. Docup Ob. 2, riaperti due bandi per le imprese. Con la Deliberazione della Giunta regionale n. 967 del 22 dicembre 2008, pubblicata sul Bollettino ufficiale della Regione Lazio n. 3 del 21 gennaio 2009 (parte prima), sono stati riaperti due bandi di agevolazioni rivolti alle piccole e medie imprese operanti nelle zone Obiettivo 2. Si tratta degli incentivi previsti dalle leggi n. 1329/65 (Sabatini) e n. 598/94 nell’ambito della Sottomisura IV.1.5 “Sostegno agli investimenti delle Pmi attraverso il fondo unico regionale” del Docup Ob. 2 2000/06. La prima prevede agevolazioni per l’acquisizione di macchinari e impianti, la seconda offre incentivi per l’innovazione tecnologica, la tutela ambientale, l’innovazione organizzativa, l’innovazione commerciale e la sicurezza sui luoghi di lavoro.

Affidamento di servizi informatici. Sviluppo Lazio indice una gara d’appalto per l’affidamento di servizi informatici e di assistenza informatica. Si tratta in particolare della realizzazione del nuovo sistema informatico web based per la gestione dei bandi e delle agevolazioni a favore delle imprese. Market barriers to ICT for independent living and active ageing – Preliminary Findings. An ICT & Ageing study, launched by the European Commission in the beginning of 2008, has issued its preliminary findings. The main goal of the study is to identify and understand the market barriers which currently hinder uptake of ICT for independent living and active ageing in Europe. For the first time, the study looks into the situation prevailing in 14 representative EU Member States as well as the USA and Japan with regard to the deployment situation of relevant ICTs and policy/market response respectively. http://www.ict-ageing.eu/?page_id=246

A more attractive European Research Area but stagnating EU R&D intensity: no time to take a break! The 2008 Science, Technology and Competitiveness (ST&C) key figures report published today provides for the first time an overview of progress from 2000 to 2006 in both EU R&D investment and in implementing the European Research Area (ERA). The 2008 European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) published today shows the EU making substantial progress in its innovation performance preceding the financial crisis.Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Denmark and the UK are  Innovation leaders , with innovation performance well above the EU average. Of these countries, Switzerland and Germany are improving their performance fastest. Austria, Ireland, Luxembourg, Belgium, France and the Netherlands are Innovation followers, with performance above the EU average. Ireland’s performance has been increasing fastest within this group, followed by Austria. Cyprus, Iceland, Estonia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy are the Moderate innovators , with innovation performance below the EU average. EraSME: Boosting the role of SMEs in trans-national projects.EraSME seeks to strengthen and enhance the competitiveness and innovative capacities of SMEs, while improving links between Europe’s business and research communities.The goal is to help SMEs collaborate with one another and work with research and technology organisations (RTOs) and universities. The RTOs can provide SMEs with valuable research expertise and facilities. In return, the SMEs can offer their research partners valuable business acumen.
